This... is just an amazing album released like, over a year ago, but I have recently found sanity in it's melodies. So, because I have nothing else to do right now, I choose to review it.No matter who you are, I gan garuntee you'll find something to love about this album.
I only just realized the pun of the title yesterday.
In Japanese, you would say "parallel", "parareru". You would say "love" in Japanese "rabu".
He combined the two.
The genius.
You get "Palovrel".
Like love in parallels, or parallel love. How awesome is that?
1. Lovrel - This... I ignored the intros the first time around, 'cus I hate slow songs and intros. However, I had my iPod on chance shuffle while laying on the floor, and this song came on. I swear to God the beast inside of me was tamed the moment it started playing. I have a feeling this will be on my most played very, very soon. Take the time and listen to it, you wont regret it.
2. Linolium - Some people say "Hey! This sounds like "tori no ai uta", and they're right. It does. However, this song came first. There is much confusion to this. Kou Shibasaki took this song's melody, and write lyrics. The way it's all translated, the songs show both sides to the story. It's really cute. Again, a slow song of which I am usually not comfortable with, yet DECO makes it work. How does he do that?
3. Mozaik Role - Ahh, the classics. This song was the first ever GUMI song to reach #1 on the Vocaloid Rankings. GUMI had been around for about a year when this song came out. It also stayed on said chart high up for... quite some time. And why wouldn't it? The PV had amazing animation, and the songs and lyrics were phenomenal! DECO*27 took a little step from his "usual" style and look what happens. he becomes a hit. Once a hit, always a hit. You cannot hate this song. Seriously.
4. dare datte "dare dakke" - This is acctually my favourite song on the album. I don't know the lyrics, but the melody and vcals were so cute and unique. You don't have to know Japanese to get a real feel for this song. It's really good. It's just one of those songs you can't help but love. Sweet and Unique.
5. yowamushi Montblanc - Again, a classic. This song was fairly popular wasn't it, though Mozaik Role came out after it. When I first saw this song uploaded... I freaked. Since when had my precious DECO*27 started using GUMI. I was scared. he sound was different, less techno sounding. I hated it at first... but it grew on me... so fast. I really like how DECO*27 always mentions death in his songs. So unexpected. Anyways, a good song. Good song.
6. boku no namae wa - I hated this song at first as well. It was boring and repetitive. But, um, never judge a song by the first time you hear it. This song was catchy, and I found myself singing it ALL THE TIME.
7. Lovrell - I like the first one better, and the odd drums at the end of it through me off. However, it was a good ending song for the album. I feel as though it ties everything up really nicely.
And thus concludes my review.
